Tonight saw the start of our winter Bible Teaching meetings. The hall was packed out with visiting Christians and a few extra chairs had to be brought in!
Jack Hay spoke from Amos 7 vs 10-17 on the burden of Amos and the opposition faced from the false priest Amaziah.
Bernard Stapley spoke from Philemon vs2 and Colossians 4 vs17 on Archippus and the ministry committed to him.
Colin Hutchison spoke from 1 Kings 2 on Solomon's judgement against Adonijah, Abiathar, Joab and Shimei relating them to problems that can arise in the assembly that will distract from the glory of Christ.
Craig Munro spoke from 1 Chronicles 3 vs 10-16 on the legacy of the Kings of Judah.

Sunday 25th October 2009
This Sunday we enjoyed a visit from the Evangelist, Jack Hay from Comrie. Instead of our normal Sunday afternoon Bible Teaching meeting, we were visiting the Barrogil House care home in Cluny, near Kirkcaldy. As usual we sang a few favourite hymns and then Jack gave a short message to the residents. We were also joined by a few relatives of residents and some of the staff. Jack also took our evening gospel service.

Our evening Gospel service was taken by Euan.
The Blogmeister is away for a long week-end :) so next Sunday's activities may not be reported!

Sunday 4th October 2009
As this is the first Sunday in October our normal afternoon Bible Teaching meeting was replaced by a service at the Benore Care Home. Ken G spoke to the residents and carers who gathered.
Our evening Gospel service was taken by Craig who spoke from a number of references to the 'feet' of the Lord Jesus in Luke's gospel.
With the Fife schools breaking up for the two week Autumn break at the end of next week the Sunday School and Bible Class won't be with us for the next couple of weeks. We look forward to seeing them all again after the break.
