We seem to have hit on a good run of visitors over recent weeks! Today we had the Petrie family from Banbridge, Northern Ireland and the evangelist Joe Baxter from Livingston.
Joe was responsible for the afternoon Bible Teaching meeting. He spoke on the life of Asa from 2 Chronicles 14, 15 and 16 - with particular emphasis on Asa's prayer life and reliance upon God in chapter 14 v11.
Andrew Petrie and Joe Baxter shared the evening Gospel Service. Andrew spoke on the conversion of the Philippian jailer and Joe spoke from Jeremiah 8v20, "The harvest is past, The summer is ended, And we are not saved!".

As it was the first Sunday in June, our afternoon Bible Teaching was replaced this week by our normal monthly visit to the Benore Care Home. Afterwards a number of the Christians distributed leaflets around the doors in Navitie Park.
The evening Gospel service was taken by Craig and Ken. Craig spoke on lies people are told about God and the Gospel. Ken spoke on the three stories of conversion found in Acts chapters 8, 9 and 10.

Sunday School Off on Holiday!
The Ballingry Gospel Hall annual Sunday School outing takes place next Saturday (12th June). We are going to Ravenscraig Park in Kirkcaldy.
As is traditional at Ballingry, 'the Trip' marks the end of Term for the Sunday School and Teenage Bible Class. Mind you, it was great to see some of the Bible Class coming out to our Gospel meeting on Sunday night.

Sunday 31st May
Phew - where has the time gone! Apologies for the delay in getting the notes for this week posted.
The afternoon Bible Teaching meeting took the form of a Bible Study in Ezra chapter 1, which was opened by Euan.
The evening Gospel service was addressed by Craig, who used some of the statements being made by our politicians in connection with the expenses scandal as the basis for his message.
