The Ballingry Christian Conference will be held today (DV) in the Benarty Primary School from 3pm. If you are coming from Lochgelly - just keep on the main road towards Ballingry until you see the school on your left hand side (about half a mile beyond the shops in Lochore). If you are coming from the Scotlandwell side - head for Lochgelly until you see the school on your right (approx 100 yards beyond the police station).
The school car park is directly off the main road, which is clear of snow - so you should have no problems with travel. Please take care when walking over the car park, however, as it may not have been cleared.
We look forward to seeing you!

Sunday 1st November 2009
The weather today has been miserable! It hasn't stopped raining since it began at about half past three this morning (I know - I was wakened by the rain battering off the window). Despite the wind and rain, we had a good day today. In the afternoon we were at the Benore care home where Craig spoke to the residents and carers present. Sunday school and Teenage Bible Class also started back today - it was good to see a few new faces despite the rain!
In the evening our Gospel service was shared by Alasdair and Craig. Alasdair spoke from Luke 18 on the two men going up to the temple to pray. Craig spoke from various verses in the Psalms on "the happy man".

Most people back from holiday now, so the meetings felt quite large yesterday although there are still a few enjoying their summer break.
In the afternoon we were at the Benore Care Home for our monthly service with the elderly residents there. The turnout was the largest we have seen for quite a few months. The old people really enjoyed singing some old-time gospel hymns and choruses following which Euan gave a short gospel message. We really appreciate the support that we get from the staff at Benore in setting up the room for these monthly meetings.
Craig and Euan were responsible for our evening Gospel Service. Craig spoke from John's Gospel chapter 16 vs28 and Euan followed with some thoughts from John's Gospel chapter 17 vs3.
